Obituary, Marietta Times, Oct. 24, 2013:

Eugene "Gene" Felton, 77, of Marietta, died, Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at his residence. He was born, Oct. 10, 1936, in New Matamoras, a son of the late Raymond M. and Opal June Slonaker Felton.

He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Webster, one son, Ed Felton, two granddaughters, Lindsey Webster Funes, and Kelsie Webster, one great-grandson, Alexander Funes, two sisters, Shirley Felton and Patsy Stanley, five brothers, Gerald Felton, Bill Felton, Howard Felton, John Felton, and Jimmy Felton, and several nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Imagene Felton, and four children.

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with the Rev. Jesse L. Keenan officiating. Interment will be in the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Reno, Ohio.
