Alice L. Parkinson Lippencott, 83, of Waynesburg, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in her residence, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sunday, April 29, 1923, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Harvey Parkinson and Lucy Montgomery Parkinson.
She was a member of Waynesburg Eagles Club 598 and was a social member of VFW 4793 in Waynesburg.
She did housework for several families in Greene County.
Her first husband, Ralph Knight, is deceased, and her second husband, Ralph Lippencott, died August 20, 1986. Surviving are a son, Gary L. Knight of Waynesburg; a stepson, William Lippencott of Rockville, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Sarah Hartzell of Rockwood, Tenn., and Shirley Davis of Waynesburg; a half sister, Virginia Thomas of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a stepson, Keith Lippencott; a stepgrandson, Randal Davis; four sisters, Meta Parkinson, Fannie Cunningham, Belle Kiger and Mae Mitchell; six brothers, Kenneth Parkinson, Raymond Parkinson, Albert Parkinson, James Parkinson and Lewis Parkinson and one who died in infancy; and a half sister, Florence Heberline.
