georgian

This stately red brick home built in the Georgian Revival style was built sometime between 1922-1935 by Deo Blackmer, owner of a men's clothing store (later known as Utter's Men's Wear). His father, S. T. Blackmer, lived in the house next door to the east. Remnants of the foundation of an earlier carriage house is in the rear of the property.
