Mary L. Mitchell Grim

Mary L. Mitchell Grim, 89, of Wind Ridge, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, in her home. Born July 23, 1934, in Waynesburg, daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel Crane Mitchell. Mary was a Greene County resident her whole life. She graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1952. Mary was a member of Fairview Methodist Church in Graysville. She married Kenneth Earl Grim on October 5, 1957, and they were happily married for 41 years until his passing on August 31, 1999. Mary was an avid Steelers fan. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and baking. Mary loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by three children, Deborah Grim, of Salem, Ohio, Douglas Grim, of Wind Ridge, and Robert Grim, also of Wind Ridge; five grandchildren, Amanda (Sam) Morgan, of Houston, Tex., Bryan (Melody Dillenburg) Phillips, of Elko, Nev., Anthony (Lacee) Phillips, of Salem, Ohio, Callie (David) Favor, of Wind Ridge, and Andrew Grim, of Wind Ridge; 15 great- grandchildren; one sibling, Cynthia Varner, of Waynesburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Margaret Filbey, Robert Mitchell, Lena Lemley, and Samuel Mitchell. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359.
