Obituary, The Evening Standard (Uniontown, PA), May 19, 1958:
“Kelley, Harry S—age 84 years, a resident of Grindstone, died at 9 p. m. Friday May 16, 1958, at his home. Born October 3, 1873, at Grindstone, the son of the late Joseph and Martha Simpson Kelley. He was predeceased by his wife Iva M. Kelley in 1953. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Merrill (Viola) Lutton of Grindstone, Mrs. Ewing (Nellie) Martin of Star Junction, Alberta at home, Floyd of Palmer, Eugene and Ulysses of Grindstone, Lester of Brownsville, Lucille of Cleveland, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. Nora Acklin of Brownsville. Friends are being received at the Ross Funeral Home, 125 Front St., Brownsville, where services will be held today at 2 p. m. with Rev. Harlan M. Eck officiating. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.”
