Although it was known that she had been in poor health for several years, it came as a shock when the death of Mrs. Melcena Grim was announced as having taken place at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon. She was 67 years old and the wife of Dr. A. S. Grimm, a resident of St. Marys 41 years.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, Dr. Claude of this city, Bruce of Fairmont, Dr. Homer of Pittsburgh and one daughter, Nellie; also by three brothers and one sister P. M. McGinnis of Cairo, J. H. McGinnis of Katy, Texas and Mrs. Samantha Young of Parkersburg.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Friday at two pm conducted by Rev. John Wolf and interment will be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
In early life the deceased was a teacher and never lost interest in the cause for education. She was a member of the M. E.
