“Mrs. Nancy Grimm
Mrs. Nancy Grimm, 87, widow of Harvey Grimm of Waynesburg R. D. 3 (Gordon Hill), died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Wilson, Friday, May 21, 1954, at 7 p.m. after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 14, 1866, in Greene County, a daughter of John and Amanda Phillips and had lived most of her life in Greene County.
Two daughters, Mrs. Flo WIlson, Waynesburg R. D. 3; Mrs. Patricia Kerr, West VIrginia, and two sons, Morgan Grimm of Waynesburg and Alton Grimm of Texas, survive. She was the last of her family. Fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also are living.
She was a member of the Viola, W. Va., Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 24, at 2 p.m. from the Church Funeral Home, North Maiden street, Waynesburg, in charge of Rev. Paul P. Holden. Burial in Oakmont Cemetery. Friends received at the Church Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
