Permelia was considered "a much respected lady," said the Republican. Paralyzed due to a stroke in the winter of 1899, she died at home in Old Concord on Jan. 12, 1899, at age 74. She was laid to rest in the Prosperity Cemetery, otherwise known as the Upper Ten Mile Church Cemetery. In an obituary, the Republican noted that she was survived by a brother, Elias Headlee, of Richhill Township, Greene County. 742

“Mrs. Harvey Grim died at her home near Old Concord, Washington county, January 12, 1899, of paralysis, at an advanced age. She leaves several grown up sons and daughaters. Deceased was a sister of Elias Headley, of Richhill township, this county, and was a much respected lady. Interment in the cemetery at Prosperity, Pa.”
