Obituary, Waynesburg Republican, Thursday, Dec. 24, 1903, p. 1
“DIED FROM HIS INJURIES
Clark Grim, of Delphene, Died on Monday, As the Result of An Accident at Inghram Bros.’ Shop.
Clark Grim, who was injured by falling down the elevator shaft at Inghram Bros.’ shop about ten days ago, an account of which was given in our last issue, died on Monday last at the Farmer's Hotel, on Greene street. He never recovered from his injuries but remained in a partially paralyzed condition until his death. He was aged about sixty-five years, and is survived by a wife and family. The body was taken to his home near Delphene, this county, Wednesday morning. He was a prominent and wealthy citizen of the western part of the county.”
884Is it possible Clark was buried first in Vally Chapel cemetery on Dec. 23, 1903, and then moved to Higgins Cemetery on Dec. 23, 1904? There are two death records. Book 2, page 55, line 18 gives the Valley Chapel information, while Book 2, page 55, line 27 gives Higgins info. Tombstone is at Higgins Cemetery.
