“Della Gae Staggers Jones, 80, of Holbrook, RD 1 died at 7 AM Saturday, May 27, 1972 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born Jan. 10, 1892 in Jackson Township, a daughter of the late James E. and Amanda McVay Staggers. Her husband, Morgan Osborne Jones, whom she married April 26, 1916, died March 11, 1972.
Mrs. Jones spent her whole life in Jackson Township.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Brumage of Waynesburg; one granddaughter, Mrs. James “Gae” Tretinik of Clarksville; four great-grandsons, one brother, Arthur D. Staggers of Holbrook, RD 1 and several nieces and nephews.
Three sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.”9
