“Wayne M. Burch, 64, Viburnum (formerly of this area), died Nov. 22 at his residence. He was born May 10, 1915 in Farmington, a son of the late Alfred and Minnie Dietzler Burch.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Sutherland McFarland Burch, Viburnum; two stepsons, Home McFarland, and Ralph McFarland, both of Festus; a stepdaughter, Regina (Mrs. Billy) Hawkinson, St. Louis; seven stepgrandchildren; three step-greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Viola (Mrs. Clifford) Wright, Cold Water, and Edna (Mrs. Joe) Eads, Bonne Terre; four nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burch was a Shriner, and member of Doe Run Masonic Lodge.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at Caldwell Funeral Home.
Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Chapel services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Robert Swanson officiating.
Interment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park.”1298
