“Services Held April 19 For Mrs. Minnie Burch
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon for Mrs. Minnie Burch, mother of Mrs. Charles Eads of Bonne Terre. A resident of Elvins, Mrs. Burch passed away April 9, 1963, at the Bonne Terre Hospital at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 25 days.
A daughter of the late John and Elizazbeth (Skaggs) Ditzler, she was born April 14, 1890, near Farmington, Mo., and was the wife of Alfred Burch who passed away May 8, 1958.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Viola) White of St. Louis and Mrs. Charles (Edna) Eads of Bonne Terre; 1 son, Wayne Burch of Viburnum; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a sister and 2 brothers, Mrs. Mary Happe, John and Everett Dietzler, all of Elvins; and a foster-brother, Murrill Pirtie of Anaheim, Calif.
The body lay in state at the Raymond Caldwell & Son Funeral Home in Elvins. Services were conducted Friday, April 21, at the Elvins Baptist Church with the Rev. John Doolittle officiating. Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park.”1298
