“Ervan Hopkins Miller, 80, of Farmington, died Nov. 10 at his residence. He was born July 17, 1910 in Farmington to the late George and Ella hopkins Miller. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Miller, and two brothers.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Farmington First Baptist Church. He was a Marine veteran of WWI and WWII. [this can’t be correct as he would have been less than 10 years old in WWI]
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Doty Miller of Farmington; one daughter, Carol (Mrs. Ron) Sumpter of Farmington; two sisters: Myrtle Denman of Farmington, and Ada Gray of Farmington; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today after 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service in Farmington. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Farmington First Baptist Church with Dr. W. C. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Ironton Baptist Home for the Aged.”
