Allie Franklin Grimm

Allie Franklin Grimm, 89, of 3826 Murdoch Ave., died Monday at the Masonic Home, Parkersburg.
He was born at Joker, Calhoun County, a son of the late Franklin B. and Lidia Holbert Grimm. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Mount Olivet Lodge No. 169 AF&AM. Grimm retired Monongahela Power Co. after 39 years. He had been manager of the 19th Street power station. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Doak Grimm of Masonic Home; three sons, Allie F. Grimm, Jr., of Marietta, Russel Grimm of Ashland, OR, and Jay Dwight Grimm of Parkersburg; two daughters, Mary McNerney and Margaret Starling of Parkersburg; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Francis Walton of Norton, OH, and Muriell Posey of Barberton, OH.
The funeral will be 11 am Thursday at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery with Masonic rites.
