Obituary, Albuquerque Journal (Albuquerque, NM), Tuesday, September 16, 1986, p. C13:

Cooper—Martin Reese Cooper, 99, a resident of Albuquerque for 7 years, passed away in a local hospital on Sunday. He is survived by one daughter, Jane C. Hayes of Albuquerque; and one grandson, John Fahey of Salem, OR. He was a member of Waterford Methodist Church in Waterford, OH. He was also a member of St. John’s Lodge #11 F.A.A.M. of District of Columbia, was a 32 Degree Mason, and a member and contributor of the Lower Muskingum Historical Society of Ohio. He was with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 44 years from 1913 to 1957. He was an outstanding authority in the field of farm management. He will be taken to the Gasch’s Son Funeral Home in Hyattsville, MD where services will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel in Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE, in charge of arrangements.
