Jane moved to Washington, D. C. from Ohio and married Aloysius “Al” Fahey sometime in the 1930s. She worked for a Federal geological agency. She wanted to divorce Al so she moved to Albuquerque, NY [sic; probably AZ] to take advantage of their better divorce laws. Her job was with the same agency. She met George Hayes there, who was from Sibley, Louisiana. He was called back to Sibley to run the family business in Minden, and that’s where they lived and died.1828
