“Michael L. Staggers
Member of Nebo Methodist Church
Michael L. Staggers, 53, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg.
He was born May 10, 1956, a son of the late Milo and Cleo Staggers.
Mr. Staggers graduated from West Greene High School in 1977.
He was a member of Nebo United Methodist Church.
Mr. Staggers was the primary caregiver of his disabled brother for the past 10 years, until his passing.
Surviving are three brothers, Ben Staggers of Waynesburg, James (Bud) Carroll of Waynesburg and Harry Carroll of West Finley; six sisters, Sarah Clutter of West Finley, JoAnne Hamilton of Graysville, Mary Kiger of Prosperity, Carol Ann Dye of Alabama, Brenda Finnegan of Florida and Mary Lou Amos of Graysville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Dale Staggers, and a sister, Jean Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, in Nebo Methodist Church, West Finley. Arrangements are under the direction of Lesako Funeral Home, Carmichaels.”
