Obituary, Waynesburg Republican, 24 Mar 1927
“Mrs. Louisa E. Rush, widow of Andrew J. Rush, deceased, of Morris township, died in the Washington hospital Wednesday morning, March 9, at 8:30 o'clock, after a week's illness. She was aged 64 years. Her husband's death occurred in 1918. She was a life long member of the Beulah Baptist church and was highly esteemed. Three sons and a daughter survive, Artemus D. Rush and Mrs. Valdia M. Johnson, of Nineveh; Alva M. Rush, of Prosperity; Floyd I. Rush, of Deer Lick R.D. 2. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, in the Enon Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. J. Walter Banres. Interment in the Enon cemetery.”
