Obituary, Waynesburg Republican, 27 June 1918:
“Andrew J. Rush, an aged and highly respected citizen, died at his home in Morris township, Tuesday, June 25, aged 78 years, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Rush was a son of Silas and Sarah Rush, deceased. He had followed the carpenter trade and also engaged in farming. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist church. Beside his wife he is survived by four children, Demas, of Morris township; Alvie, in the U.S. service and located at a training camp in Texas; Fred and Goldie, at home. The funeral was held on Friday. Interment in the Beulah cemetery.”
