Obituary:
“Wayne Grim, 59, of New Freeport R.D.2, died unexpectedly at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 1989, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born July 5, 1930, in New Freeport, son of Edith hoy Grim of New Freeport R.D.1 and the late John Walter Grim.
Mr. Grim was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist church.
He was owner and operator of Grim’s Bus transportation, which provided transportation for West Greene School District since 1954.
Mr. Grim also was a Freeport Township supervisor for the last 10 years, and a former employee of Bissett Construction Co.
He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 132, Clarksburg, W.Va.
His wife, Geraldine E. Gray Grim, whom he married August 8, 1952, survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Teresa) Brown of New Freeport; three sons, Charles W. Grim of Oklahoma City, Okla., G. Edward Grim and George W. Grim, both of New Freeport; four grandchildren, Haley and Stacey Brown and Lindsey and Cody Grim; five brothers, Wilfred E. Grim of Monongahela, harold E. Grim of Hamburg, N.Y., Karl L. Grim of Hundred, W.Va., Kenneth H. Grim of New Freeport and C. Robert Grim of Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Wilma) Lemmon of Daisytown and Mrs. Edward (Gladys) Gaines of New Freeport R.D.1.
An infant son is deceased.”
