Obituary:
“Helena Mildred Grim, 66, of Fourth Street Extension, Monongahela, died Monday, October 2, 1989, at home.
She was born May 29, 1923, in Aleppo Township, Greene County, a daughter of John M. and Ana Hoge Hughes.
Mrs. Grim spent 38 years in Greene County before moving to Monongahela.
She and her husband, Wilfred E. Grim, who survives, celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary September 30, 1989.
Mrs. Grim was a 1943 graduate of Rogersville High School, and retired from Mon Valley hospital after 15 years of service in the dietary department.
She was a member of the Monongahela Woman’s Club and the First Christian Church of Monongahela, where she was a member of the Open Door Bible class and a former member of the Couples Club of the church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, Allen E. Grim of Beaver; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Marjorie) Frye of Greensburg; one brother, Doyle Hughes of Holbrook; and three grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, Dwane, Wilbur, Carl, Alfred and two infants.”976
