“Edward T. Grimm, 71, Parkersburg, died Saturday morning, Sept. 17, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Creston, Wirt County, a son of the late John and Mamie King. He was a former teacher in the Wirt County schools and was retired from Inland Container of Erie, Pa.
Survivng are three sons, Edward Jr., Erie; Larry Eugene of Walker; Michael of Lakewood, Ohio; five daughters, Wanda Juaret of Home, Pa.; Betty Stewart of Parkersburg; Ruby Sutton of Waverly; Nancy Foggin of Vienna; Kimberly Locke of Austin, Texas; two step-daughters; Linda Paskey of Erie; Jackie Risley of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Rev. Thomas Grim of Parkersburg; Rev. Gladson Grim of Elizabeth; 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Matheny-Pomroy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. Burial was in the DePue Cemetery of Creston.”
