Tom spent his later years at the Wilkins Care Home in Pittsburgh, PA. He went by the name of Tom. He is buried at Morgan Cemetery, Little, WV. Tom and Pearl had 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

“Rawson, Thomas J. 91 of Wilmerding, Pa., formerly of New Martinsville, died Tuesday, July 23, 1996 in Wilkins Care Home, Pittsburgh, PA. He was a self-employed master plumber and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl C. Franks Rawson; three sons, Vernon, Gay Arthur and Thomas J. Jr.; his parents, John T. and Hulda Ann Grimm Rawson; two grandsons. Surviving are two sons, William and Benjamin, both of Wilmerding; four daughters, Mrs. Homer (Phyllis) Mercer of East Liverpool, Mrs. James (Hilda) Montgomery of Turtle Creek, Pa., Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn) Clough of Cocoa, Fla. and Mrs. John (Joyce) Young of North Huntington, Pa; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends received 7-9 P.M. Friday at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, where services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday. Interment in Morgan Cemetery, Little, W.V.”
