“Rawson, Pearl C., 83, of Route 2, New Martinsville, died Wednesday at home. She was preceded in death by three sons. Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. (John Thomas); two sons, Benjamin B. of Wilmerding, PA., and William E. of Delmont, PA.; four daughters, Phyllis Mercer of East Liverpool, Hilda Montgomery of Turtle Creek, PA, Carolyn Sullivan of Cocoa, FL., and Joyce Young of North Huntingdon, PA; five sisters, Greta Cline of Friendly, Liza Brown of Martins Ferry, Georgia Kulbert of East Liverpool, Jenny of Kansas and Eva Sanderson; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Friends received 7-9 P.M. Friday and from 9 A.M. Saturday until time of services at 2 P.M. at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne. Interment in Morgan Cemetery, Little, WV.”
