Marriage record shows her age 54 at marriage to John Darnell in 1860, yielding an approximate birth year of 1806. Her death record shows she died on July 10, 1893 at about age 92, yielding an approximate birth year of 1801.

At the time of her marriage to Joshua Fast, she was widowed and age 58 in 1865, yielding birth year of about 1807. Her parents were James and Margaret.

Will, Monongalia Will Book v. 004, 1885-1895:

I, Isabella Fast, of Monongalia County West Virginia, do make, publish and declare the following to be my last will and testament:

After the payment of my funeral expenses, I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew John Kinkaid of Monongalia County, West Virginia, to his heirs and assigns forever, all my property and estate, whether real or personal of which I may die possessed.

Said property consists principally of the house and lot where I now live, and of about ($600.00) deposited in the Second National Bank of Morgantown. But all other property and estate of whatever description and wheresoever situated to which I may have my title or claim at my death, it is my purpose to transfer by this will to my said nephew John Kinkaid.

And I constitute and appoint my said nephew John Kinkaid sole executor of this will, without security. I desire to be buried by the side of my late husband Jonathan Fast, who lies near Smithtown, in this County, and to have my grave marked with a plain and durable tombstone, and I commit the execution of these last desires tony said executor. For testimony whereof I hereto sign my name this 10th day of December, 1892.
