The death certificate of her son, John A. Acklin, names her Hanna Rebecca Jacobs.

1301903: Hannah R. Acklin sells lot 80 in Brownsville to Charles Mitchell
1906: Hannah R. Acklin sold lots 69 & 70 in Brownsville to Frank W. Acklin of Tyrone, Blair County, PA (her youngest son)
1906: Hannah R. Acklin sold lot 68 in Brownsville to James Conner
1907: Charles P. and Sarah Acklin sold land to his mother, Hannah Rebecca Acklin before she died in October.
1924: Frank W. Acklin, executor of Hannah Rebecca Acklin, late of Brownsville, sold to William G. Acklin of Brownsville land in Brownsville conveyed to Charles P. Acklin in Book 204, page 43 with a 2 story brick house which was sold to Hannah Rebecca Acklin by Charles P. Acklin. Charles P. was to be one of the executors of his mother’s will, but had died by 1924.

“Son Gets One Dollar
Mrs. H. R. Acklin Cuts Him Off, but Gives His Share to Wife
Uniontown Aug 21 — The will of Mrs. H. R. Acklin of Brownsville was probated this morning. She bequeaths the profits of her estate to her daughter Melissa during her lifetime and at the expiration of her life, the estate is to be divided among her other children with the exception of Alonzo Acklin, who is to receive $1. His portion of the estate, however, is to go to his wife Mrs. Sarah Acklin. Charles P. Acklin and Frank W. Acklin are apppointed guardians of Melissa and are to serve as executors of the estate without bond.”
