“Lawrence (Pete) Grim, died Saturday, June 30, 1962 at Waynesburg. Born February 1896 at Delphine, the son of Lawrence Clark and Emma Kuhn Grim. Veteran of World War I, Co. K 10th Inf. Survived by his wife, Kathryn Deems Grim; four brothers, Odest O. of Sacramento CA, Homer R. of Ft. Worth, TX, Benjamin H. of Huntley, MT, Jobe of Waynesburg; two sisters, Debbie L. Grim of West Finley, Bessie D. Amos of Cameron, WV. Funeral Thursday, July 5 at the Greenlee Funeral Home, Bealsville, Rev. James Morrison officiating. Burial in Beallsville [sic] Cemetery.”

“Lawrence (Pete) Grim, 66, of 354 North Porter street, Waynesburg, died Saturday, June 30, 1962, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Grim was born Feb. 6, 1896 at Delphene, a son of the late Lawrence Clark Grim and Emma Kuhn Grim. He served in World War I with Company K, 110th Infantry.
He was a member of James Farrell American Legion Post 330, Waynesburg, and a past master of Harvey Grange No. 1444, Graysville.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Deems grimm; four brothers, Odest O., Sacramento, Calif.; Homer R., Fort Worth, Tex.; Benjamen H., Huntley, Mont., and Jobe, Waynesburg; two sisters, Debbie L., West Finley, and Mrs. Bessie D. Amos, Camberon, W. Va., and several nieces and nephews.”
