“Charles (Joe) Eads
Charles Paul Eads, 75, of Bonne Terre, died June 19 at St. Luke’s Hospital West. He was born Aug. 22, 1911 in Bonne Terre to the late Joseph and Nannie Pullen Eads. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Wilbur, Winford and James and three sisters: Jennie, Georgia and Mary Leola.
Mr. Eads was a member of the Bonne Terre Congregational Church.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Burch Eads of Bonne Terre; three sons: Ronald Eads of Crystal City, James Eads of Carlisle, Penn., and Robert Eads of Farmington; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Hansborough of Albuquerque, N.M.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at the BOnne Terre Congregational Church with Rev. Herbert Long officiating, assisted by Rev. Oscar Bolman. Burial was in St. Francois Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the direction of Sparks Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
