Obituary, 1932?:
“Mrs. Cora Staggers Huffman, aged 45 years, wife of William A. Huffman, of Pine Bank, died at 5 o’clock yesterday morning, Sept. 8, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the Huffman home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. T. M. Gladden, of Rogersville, officiating, and interment will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery at Bluff.
A daughter of Daniel and Martha Custer Staggers, she was born at Bristoria and spent all her life in Greene County. For several years her husband was employed in the Union Deposit & Trust Company in Waynesburg an dthe family lived here until 1918, when they removed to Pine Bank. Mrs. Huffman was a member of the First Baptist church of Waynesburg. Besides her husband she leaves five children, Wilbur, Ester, Elenor, Arthur and Paul, all at home.”1493
