Obituary:
“Zella K. Staggers, aged 81 years, of 244 First Avenue, Waynesburg, PA, died at 9:15 am Friday, April 28, 1967, after a three day illness.
She was born October 23, 1885, in Jackson Township, a daughter of the late Rufus and Mary Jane Wright Kerr.
She was married June 15, 1910 to George W. Staggers, who died July 30, 1965.
Mrs. Staggers spend most of her life in Jackson Township and the past few years at Waynesburg, but had spent the past few weeks with her daughter, Gertrude, wife of Raymond Dukate.
She was a member of the Long Run Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her dauther is one son, Howard, of Waynesburg, R.D. 2; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers, John Kerr, of Sycamore, George Kerr of Waynesburg, R.D. 5; Lawrence Kerr, of Carmichaels, and one sister, Mrs. Urbana Headley of Graysville, R.D. 1.”1491
