“The Rev. Gladson Grim, 89, of Willows Nursing Home, formerly of Elizabeth, died Dec. 12, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born in Creston, Wirt County, the son of the late John W. and Mamie King Grim. He was a member of the Two Ripple Baptist Church and was a retired custodian of the Wirt County Schools.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor Richards Grim; five children, Margaret (Ira) Lynch of Creston, William Gale (Diana) Grim of Spring City, Tenn., Roger Grim of Vera Beach, Fla., Terry (Connie) Grim of Elizabeth and Pam (Tony) Terretti of Vinton, Va.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers; a sister; and two grandchildren.

Services were Friday afternoon, Dec. 15, at Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home with Jim Lynch officiating. Burial followed in the Hill Grove Cemetery, Wirt County.”
