“Mrs. Martha Ellen Courtwright Grim, aged 89 years, of Wind Ridge, died at 1:25 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 1963, in her home, after a serious illness of three weeks.
Mrs. Grim was born August 14, 1873, in Aleppo Township, a daughter of James H. and Jane Morris Courtwright.
She was a resident of Richhill Township most of her life, and was a member of the Sugar Grove Union Church.
Her husband, George L. Grim, died August 25, 1948.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Rutan and Miss Frances Grim, both of Wind Ridge; two sons, Linley Grim, of Beech Bottom, W. Va., and Edward Grim, of Wind Ridge; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Laurence Grim, is deceased. She was the last of a family of nine children.”232
