“Clarence Randolph Staggers, aged 61 years, of Uniontown, a former resident of Wind Ridge, died at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, October 12, 1954, in Franklin, W. Va., of a heart attack.
Mr. Staggers was born December 19, 1891, at Bristoria, and was a son of James E. and Amanda McVay Staggers. August 27, 1913, he married Rae N. nelson, who survives. Mr. Staggers was by occupation a driller and tool-dresser.
Surviving are his wife and seven children, Herbert Staggers, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4; Roy Staggers, of Graysville, R. D. 1; Mrs. Charles Fessler, Raymond Staggers and Mrs. Russell Patterson, all of Canton, O.; Arthur Staggers, of Bethesda, Md., and Donald N. Staggers, of Wind Ridge; four brothers and sisters, Robert Eastman Staggers, of Aurora, W. Va.; Arthur Staggers and Mrs. Fannie Strosnider, both of Graysville, and Mrs. Osborne Jones, of Holbrook; and 18 grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.”179
